The history was written by T. Edward Oakly for Leslie Evelyn Oakley Beyer, his daughter. It begins with Miles Oakley born in Oakley Grove, England on July 15, 1615. It has so much history, maps, hand written letters and photographs of the family, it would be hard to list everything in the book. It also documents births and deaths.
